Lead with Purpose – Cultivate Excellence in Medicinal Plants.
The Opportunity
In this key leadership role, you will oversee all stages of medicinal plant cultivation—from propagation to harvest—ensuring optimal yield, quality, and regulatory compliance. Working closely with agronomy, QC, and QA teams, you’ll drive innovation in growing techniques while mentoring a skilled cultivation team to meet both local and international standards.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and manage all daily cultivation activities for medicinal plants, ensuring healthy crop cycles and consistent production.
- Supervise and mentor the growing team, ensuring adherence to best practices in plant care, pest management, and nutrient programs.
- Optimize environmental controls (temperature, humidity, lighting, irrigation) to maximize plant health and productivity.
- Implement and enforce Good Agricultural Practices (GAP), Integrated Pest Management (IPM), and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with quality, compliance, and post-harvest teams to meet medicinal crop standards and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor plant performance, identify issues early, and apply data-driven solutions to enhance yields and quality.
- Manage cultivation resources, including inventory of seeds, nutrients, and equipment, ensuring efficient use of inputs.
- Support research and development of new plant varieties and growing techniques aligned with company goals.
What You’ll Bring
- 10+ years of experience in large-scale cultivation, preferably of medicinal or controlled-environment crops.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Horticulture, Agronomy, Plant Science, or a related field.
- In-depth knowledge of plant biology, climate control systems, nutrient management, and IPM strategies.
- Proven team leadership experience with a passion for mentoring and developing others.
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Familiarity with GMP, GACP, or regulatory requirements for medicinal plant production is a strong advantage.
- Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office and cultivation management software.
- Professional communication in English required.
