Kimitec partners with Hyponex Japan to bring natural biotechnology to Japanese growers

Kimitec and Hyponex Japan have signed an exclusive distribution agreement to bring European-developed natural biotechnology to Japanese growers. Through this collaboration, Hyponex Japan, a long-standing leader in the country's agricultural sector, becomes a key partner for Kimitec's expansion in Asia. The company brings deep local market knowledge and a nationwide distribution network. For its part, Kimitec provides Japanese growers access to the innovation developed at the MAAVi Innovation Center, Europe's largest hub for natural biotechnology, focused on replacing synthetic chemicals without sacrificing productivity or profitability.

"Japan is facing new challenges in agriculture. This agreement promotes sustainable solutions that support growers without compromising quality or profitability," says Yasutoyo Murakami, President of Hyponex Japan.

"This alliance strengthens our global commitment to natural, effective, and sustainable agriculture. Japan is a key market due to its technological demands and dedication to quality," adds Alejandro de las Casas, Chief Commercial Officer – Agro Division at Kimitec.

According to Stéphane Chabierski, APAC Area Manager at Kimitec, "This partnership brings advanced biological solutions to Japan, helping growers improve soil health, respond better to climate challenges, and increase crop productivity while reducing dependence on chemical inputs."

The agreement is part of Kimitec's broader international strategy to accelerate the transition toward a new agricultural model based on natural biotechnology. Japan, one of the most technologically advanced agricultural markets in the world, will serve as a proving ground for demonstrating that natural innovation can match and even surpass conventional standards.
