Enza Zaden will organize its annual Discovery Field Days in September 2025, with events scheduled across multiple European locations including the Netherlands, France, and Germany. The theme for this year, "Resistance makes the difference," underscores the importance of resistance breeding in improving crop resilience and productivity in the face of ongoing agricultural challenges. Each location will offer demonstrations and discussions tailored to specific regional and crop needs. The event in Allonnes, France, will take place on September 4, followed by the event in Dannstadt, Germany, on September 11. In the Netherlands, the Twisk event will run from September 23 to 26, with a focus on resistant crop portfolios including Full Bremia resistant lettuce varieties and updates on Nasonovia resistance. Also taking place from September 23 to 25 is the Discovery Field Days Organic event in Voorst, which will highlight a broader range of organic and untreated conventional varieties, targeting the needs of organic production systems. During the same dates, Enkhuizen will host Discovery Hydro Days, concentrating on developments in hydroponic breeding and efficiency in high-tech growing systems.

Throughout these events, Enza Zaden will showcase its lettuce portfolio, which includes varieties resistant to Bremia and Fusarium (IR/HR), along with the latest information on Nasonovia Nr. 1 resistance. The events aim to provide space for dialogue, allowing participants to discuss challenges in the sector and exchange ideas about future opportunities. In most locations, attendees will also have the opportunity to arrange individual meetings with sales representatives in advance to ensure focused conversations.
