Ridder has been awarded a Dutch Interactive Award in the Service category for its new mobile app of the climate and process control platform, Ridder Hortimax Pro. The award was presented on Thursday, June 5, during the prestigious Dutch Interactive Awards 2025 in Amsterdam.
Developed together with growers and UX partner Humanoids, Ridder Hortimax Pro is an© Ridder advanced climate control app for modern greenhouses. It brings smart control and clear insights directly to growers' phones or computers. With an open and flexible platform, it easily connects with other systems. The dashboard provides real-time data and practical advice to improve greenhouse performance. Thanks to AI and smart sensors, Hortimax Pro turns thousands of data points into smart actions.
"Hortimax Pro is more than a climate computer, it's a powerful control center built with and for growers for the future of autonomous greenhouse growing," said Sander Baraké, Product Director Climate, Water & Labor Solutions at Ridder. "Together with Humanoids, we created a mobile app that gives connected control to growers, always and everywhere."
With features like real-time monitoring, remote control, and alarm notifications, the Ridder Hortimax Pro app allows growers to be in control of every aspect of their greenhouse, from climate and irrigation to energy, all from their mobile device.
