Structurally and scalably offering research and training

Artechno and HortiTech join forces in partnership

Artechno Growsystems and HortiTech have entered into a partnership centered around three key pillars: agronomic research, consultancy, and training.

Within this context, HortiTech offers independent practical research, training, and consultancy services to customers of both organizations. Agronomic research is conducted in the AVF+ climate cells at HortiTech's research facility, known as 'Proof,' located in Honselersdijk in the heart of Westland. These climate cells provide a fully controlled environment for conducting high-quality agronomic research, allowing the partners to meet the growing demand for independent, reliable, hands-on data and expert guidance.

Focus on innovation and quality
For Artechno, the partnership strengthens its core activities. By collaborating with HortiTech, Artechno can concentrate on its main focus: developing and delivering advanced technical cultivation solutions like the AVF+ Factory and AVF+ Fusion. "This collaboration allows us to offer research in a structured and scalable manner, while maintaining our commitment to independence and quality. Agronomy remains a strategic priority for Artechno, and this partnership reinforces that," says Ruud Jansen, Director and Co-owner of Artechno.

The partnership also provides HortiTech with the opportunity to transform partner-specific knowledge into practical training modules. These modules are designed with a focus on applicability and innovation, helping growers to effectively utilize the technology. Through this, HortiTech strengthens its position as a knowledge partner, placing clear emphasis on delivering quality and impactful solutions for the end user.

Direct access for customers
The collaboration allows both parties to provide research and training in a structured and scalable way, without compromising independence or depth of content. Artechno customers can enter into research contracts directly with HortiTech, where joint research objectives are established, and Artechno contributes its technical expertise. Meanwhile, HortiTech maintains its service offerings to other clients, ensuring the independence of the research. Training sessions can be utilized independently or as part of larger projects.

Joint ambition: Strengthening the horticultural sector worldwide
Through this collaboration, Artechno and HortiTech reaffirm their shared vision of contributing to a future-proof, efficient, and sustainable horticultural sector. By combining technological innovation with robust research, knowledge transfer, and practical support, they provide growers worldwide with concrete tools to optimize their production.
