New spectrum sensor on the market

Sendot is launching a new sensor on the market. It is a spectrum sensor that not only measures the PAR value but also accurately measures blue, green, red, and far-red light in μmol/m².s. The wavelength range extends from 400 to 800 nm with a light intensity range of 0 to 2000 μmol/m².s. This makes the sensor extremely suitable for a wide range of applications, according to the company, which is also known for the photosynthesis sensor and the seed scanner.

Thanks to its compact size of 43 x 21 x 27 mm and a cast waterproof housing with mounting eyes, the sensor is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. The sensor can be easily connected to the Senbox, after which the data is clearly accessible via Sendot's user-friendly portal. In the portal, users can view daily sums per color in an organized manner. An API is also available to integrate data directly into the grower's own database or network.

Users of the spectrum sensor have control over their data, as they can fully customize the number of measurements per hour to their liking.
