New shareholders for UFO Supplies

Two players in the horticultural sector are joining forces: Richard Heemskerk and Nico van der Spek, owners of Hortus Supplies, will become co-shareholders of UFO Supplies. This move follows the decision by Floris Muilwijk, one of the current shareholders of UFO Supplies, to pursue a new path. Jaap van Staaveren, the other current shareholder, will retain his shares and remain actively involved in the company.

The two companies believe that by joining forces, they can serve their customers even better, continue to meet the ever-increasing demands and respond to new market opportunities. At the same time, both companies will continue to operate independently and familiarly support their customers.

'Our companies have had a strong connection for years and complement each other perfectly,' says Jaap. 'This step allows us to leverage our expertise even better and offer a broader and stronger product range to our customers.'

Floris Muilwijk explains his choice: 'I consciously chose to take a new path. Our company is characterized by long-term relationships with customers and suppliers. The fact that Richard and Nico are now participating means these relationships are in good hands for the future. This allows me to say goodbye with confidence and pursue new path.'
