Grupo La Caña, a fruit and vegetable company in the province of Granada, has put Beatriz García Carrillo in charge of its commercial management. This appointment reinforces the company's commitment to internal talent, generational renewal, and excellence in commercial management.
Beatriz García has a degree in Advertising and Public Relations and a master's degree in Marketing Management and Commercial Management. For the last 10 years, she has been Grupo La Caña's commercial director of organic products. During her tenure, she has significantly boosted the growth of the group's organic production, consolidating a broad portfolio of organic products with a volume of 21 million kilos marketed in 2024. In addition, she was key in the opening of the Eurocastell Bio organic production center in Almeria.
Beatriz García has a deep knowledge of the sector and experience in several of the company's departments. This allowed her to acquire a global vision of the business and a comprehensive understanding of the customers' needs. Now, she takes on the challenge of strengthening the presence of Grupo La Caña in international markets and maintaining the status of its brands as benchmarks of food quality and sustainability.
"Taking the reins of the company's commercial direction with a team of top professionals is a challenge that I accept humbly and with great enthusiasm. In 2024, Grupo La Caña achieved a turnover of 193 million euros with a volume of 107 million kilos of fruits and vegetables. Currently, the company generates 1,400 jobs. With this new appointment, the company reaffirms its commitment to generational renewal, quality, innovation, and sustainability in the agri-food sector.
