Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian toured an automated greenhouse in Varamin County, located in the southeastern part of Tehran Province, on Thursday.
Situated in the village of Mohammadabad Arab, this greenhouse has been operational since 2021 and spans an area of 10 hectares.
It cultivates a variety of products, including tomatoes, strawberries, cucumbers, and colored peppers, generating direct employment for 60 individuals and indirect employment for 120 others.
In addition to supplying the domestic market, the greenhouse's products are also exported to Russia, Central Asia, and countries in the Persian Gulf region.
This visit was part of President Pezeshkian's fourth tour of Tehran Province, during which he also visited the cities of Qarchak, Pakdasht, Varamin, and Pishwa.
