US (OH): Ohio State University to host Dutch-style greenhouse course

The Ohio Controlled Environment Agriculture Center (OHCEAC) is inviting all who need this comprehensive hands-on training program to learn everything about Dutch-style high-wire tomato production and climate/crop management in the greenhouse.

All topics are covered in lectures and hands-on greenhouse labs, including tomato crop physiology, grafting propagation, crop management, integrated pest/disease management, fruit harvest/quality analysis, balancing vegetative vs. generative crop status, sensor & climate control with PRIVA, irrigation management, nutrient solution design, and recirculation.

Cost per person: $1,500 (including lunches and light refreshments)
Limited seats (max 25) are available.

Dates: Monday June 23 – Friday June 27, 2025 (4.5 days)
The event will take place at the OSU CEA Research Complex, Columbus, Ohio
