Gardener's Pride opts for ProCC

"Within a large company, you want to automate as many things as possible"

Gardener's Pride, a nursery specializing in various varieties of tomatoes, cucumbers, and strawberries, started using ProCC's software on January 1 to uniformly record all labor and hours within the company. Three years ago, ProCC was introduced at one of its sites, giving the company experience with the software and identifying its possibilities. With a workforce that rises to around 250 in the peak season, many of whom are seasonal workers, and a total area of 30 hectares, Gardener's Pride faced the challenge of aligning its processes and gaining insight into labor data.

Before choosing ProCC's software solution, Gardener's Pride went through an extensive selection process to find the right provider. The company operates from multiple locations, with each location using different time and/or labor recording software until recently. This lack of consistency meant that there was no single view of employee performance and the total amount of labor performed. At some locations, labor was recorded, while at others it was completely absent. As a result, crucial information needed to analyze and optimize business processes was missing.

Automate
After a thorough evaluation of several providers, Gardener's Pride chose ProCC's software because of its flexibility and ability to develop customized solutions that perfectly fit the company's needs. By implementing this software, Gardener's Pride now has a solution that records labor consistently across all locations. The software not only offers a standard package but also works with customers to develop customized solutions. This was a decisive factor for Gardener's Pride in their choice.

"Within a large company, you want to automate as many things as possible," said a Gardener's Pride spokesperson. "With the data we collect, we can make informed choices to map work processes and make improvements to optimize them."

New functionalities
An important aspect of the collaboration with ProCC is the ability to develop new functionalities. The team behind the software works closely with Gardener's Pride to make recording labor easier and more efficient. This customization fits seamlessly with the needs of a large organization like Gardener's Pride. Involving all employees in the use of the system not only reduces the administrative burden but also provides full insight into labor hours and performance.

With the data collected, Gardener's Pride can make targeted improvements to labor processes. For example, by analyzing labor hours for harvesting processes and testing new working methods, the company can work more efficiently and save labor hours. These insights help optimize processes and reduce costs while simultaneously increasing productivity.

Partnering with ProCC not only provides Gardener's Pride with an efficient system but also an opportunity to implement customized solutions to suit the company's unique needs. This enables Gardener's Pride to focus on its core business and deliver future-oriented improvements.
