Dava's greenhouse complexes in Saudi Arabia will soon cover more than 110 hectares. As they will contribute significantly to achieving the Saudi Vision 2030 goals, the Saudi Arabia Minister of Environment, Water, and Agriculture paid a visit to the greenhouse company.
Saudi Vision 2030 is a strategic framework to reduce Saudi Arabia's dependence on oil, diversify the economy, and develop public service sectors and sustainable food production. The aim is to create a future in which horticulture in Saudi Arabia is impressively sustainable and efficient.
"Working with Faisal Al Batal and the Al Batal family to develop their sustainable greenhouses is an exciting and rewarding journey", the team with Debets Schalke says. "We look forward to continuing our collaboration for even greater achievements ahead!"
Dava Agricultural has expanded its acreage gradually over the last few years. With the last 23-hectare expansion, the total acreage grows to 110 hectares, spread over 6 different locations in Saudi Arabia. Last year, they exported their first tomatoes to Europe.
