Using AI to aid in crop protection

What is the future of crop protection? Many experts are in agreement that it lies in the ever-expanding realm of artificial intelligence.

For example, SafePlant, an AI-driven mobile application designed to support farmers, greenhouse keepers, and crop advisors in managing plant diseases and pests.

"With SafePlant, users can upload a picture of any plant, and within seconds, our AI algorithms accurately diagnose diseases or pests with over 90% accuracy and introduce eco-friendly solutions to help get rid of them. What sets SafePlant apart is our commitment to green and sustainable agriculture. Instead of relying on chemical pesticides, we provide eco-friendly and sustainable solutions to treat plant diseases and pests," explains Zahra Dashtbozorgi, the Founder of SafePlant and CEO of SustainableFarm Innovations LTD.

Currently, SafePlant offers 23 agricultural products within the app, and we are in the process of launching our integrated online shop. This will further connect farmers, greenhouse keepers, and home gardeners with agricultural producers and sellers, enabling them to purchase the necessary products to improve crop yield and plant health.

In addition, SafePlant hopes to build a community within the app to promote eco-friendly and sustainable agricultural practices. The company's future plans include offering workshops, training courses, and consultations to educate farmers and consumers on how to implement greener, more sustainable farming techniques.

"Given the alignment between SafePlant's goals and the broader mission of promoting sustainable futures, we are seeking institutional support and collaboration opportunities. We believe that with the right partnership, SafePlant could significantly impact sustainable agriculture in the region and beyond," says Zahra. "Moreover, we are actively seeking investment to further enhance our platform and expand its capabilities. With additional funding, we could accelerate the development of new features, expand our user base, and increase our impact on promoting sustainable agricultural practices globally."
