GreenTech Amsterdam
In June, Amsterdam was the center of the horticultural industry as the tradeshow took place in RAI Amsterdam. We've given you a short recap of the most important trends and developments, and now it's time for pictures.

In October, over 250 companies were present at the Niagara Falls Convention Center to learn about developments and innovations in the industry, visit the tradeshow, and catch up with friends and acquaintances.

Cultivate
Cultivate took place in Columbus, Ohio. The combination of educational sessions and exhibition results in the largest event for the green sector in North America. Breeders, propagators and technical suppliers welcomed thousands of growers and other interested parties to their stands.

Fruit Logistica
Three days of Fruit Logistica happened in February. It was another successful fair in Berlin, Germany, with a pleasantly busy Holland Hall 3.2 and around it also halls for horticultural technology. They seemed a little quieter, but overall, exhibitors were pleased with their previously arranged meetings, and the growers met on the floor.

IFPA
The IFPA show is over, the carpets have been removed, the tomatoes have been eaten (or donated), and the flights have departed—but we're here with the IFPA Global Produce Show 2024 photo report. Greenhouse growers gathered in Atlanta in October to showcase their offerings to retailers, while horticultural suppliers sought opportunities to meet with them and discuss new developments and potential expansions.

Greentech Americas
With 223 companies and an increase in visitors, the fourth edition of GreenTech Americas last year drew attention in Queretaro, Mexico - and we have the pictures to prove it. Many exhibitors and visitors were impressed by the high energy level and the developments in the Mexican industry.

IPM Essen
About 36,000 visitors from 43 countries were present to visit the 1403 exhibitors of the IPM Essen. The jubilee fair existed for 40 years. The fair organization shares that compared to other years, the fair audience has become a lot more international - which might also be a tool to draw attention away from the numbers, as the trade show was visibly smaller than the first post-pandemic edition.

British Tomato Conference
Balancing Business and Environmental Sustainability was the central theme of the British Tomato Conference 2024, organized by the British Tomato Growers' Association. The event took place in September in Warwickshire, UK, bringing together growers, suppliers, allied industries, retailers, and researchers. It featured a comprehensive conference program alongside a trade exhibition.

HortEx Vietnam
More than 7.000 visitors made their way to HortEx Vietnam 2024 in Ho Chi Minh City to forge new connections, source new products, and obtain market information. That's what the trade show, with 150 companies representing 25 countries, is all about.

Indoor AgCon
As many of us have probably arrived home or are still recovering…, the Indoor AgCon has come to an end. Hovering over the exhibition floor were 1500+ attendees, whereas 250 exhibitors came down to Vegas to showcase their products and solutions for indoor farming. Last year, we've seen a lot of interesting panels coming into the program with cannabis, cultivating possibilities, planning & operations, and growers tracks on the side, filled with numerous panels that highlighted opportunities and challenges and delivered some proper discussions.

GPEC Japan
"It's great to see a show this size take place in Japan for the horticulture industry," said a US researcher present, commenting on the turnout. Mainly visited by domestic, Korean, and Chinese companies, the GPEC show took place on 24-26 July in Tokyo with just a few international, partnering companies visiting or participating.

Indoor AgTech
That's a wrap on the Indoor AgTech 2024 edition! With highlights on how to resolve the growing pains of energy and OPEX, we've seen numerous insightful conversations on how to tackle that in a CEA operation. Luckily, there were various cases where both greenhouse operators and vertical farms have shown that there is potential for the market, especially in the US, in retail. Therefore, many operators are optimistic about the future of CEA.

International Soft Fruit Conference
The traditional New Year's reception for the soft fruit industry has come to an end. On Wednesday during the Dutch Strawberry Day and on Thursday during the International Soft Fruit Conference, which included turning our attention to the blackberry, blueberry and raspberry, the exhibition hall in Den Bosch, the Netherlands, was once again well filled.

Hortiflorexpo China
On May 23rd, the 26th Hortiflorexpo China (IPM Beijing) was grandly opened at the China International Exhibition Center (CIEC) in Beijing. Due to the pandemic, the IPM show was not held in Beijing for 5 years. People are very excited to join IPM Beijing again. "We saw more people than we expected," many exhibitors have the same feeling.

Morocco Tomato Conference
Stakeholders in the Moroccan tomato sector gathered in Agadir on 30 May for the third Moroccan Tomato Conference, organized by Green Smile. The fully booked event brought together various links in the tomato chain from Morocco and abroad: producers, exporters, seed breeders, public sector bodies, as well as producers and distributors of fertilizers, agricultural inputs, packaging, and IT solutions.

GrowTech Antalya
The 23rd edition of Growtech, held in Antalya, Türkiye, from November 20-23, 2024, concluded successfully, setting a new record in attendance. This year's exhibition showcased new technologies, hosted networking international collaborations, and celebrated achievements in horticulture.
