Wouter Kuiper, CEO of KUBO, was put in the limelight on Monday for working at KUBO Group for 25 years. Wouter was surprised with nice words and cake in the canteen. He was addressed by Ron Arensman, also a KUBO veteran and technical director.
Wouter writes on social media:
"What once started on Saturdays in my father's factory has grown into an adventure I am immensely proud of. In 1999 I officially started at KUBO, in 2001 I became the third generation general manager. since then I have experienced a lot together with all colleagues, friends, and family: many KUBO outings, beautiful moments with all colleagues, and different milestones such as winning the MKB Westland award in 2014 and our first place in the Hillenraad100 in 2019. We also made important steps through the acquisitions of PDI, HAWE Cultivation Systems, and SDF Horti Software. Even a dinner with the King was included on the list of unforgettable moments.
I especially want to thank my father. He did not only allowed me to start my career at KUBO but always provided the space to grow and develop myself. His trust and vision have been invaluable to me.
In addition, I would like to thank my wife. Her support has been indispensable. Without her love, patience, and commitment, it would not have been possible to be where I am today.
KUBO is more than a company; it is a family business. That core value is in our DNA, and it is something I cherish. I will always fight for KUBO to retain this identity because that is what makes us unique. Together we make a difference and ensure that KUBO continues to grow and innovate.
The past 25 years have been a journey with ups and downs, but it has shaped me not only professionally, but also as a person. And I look forward with great enthusiasm to what the future holds.
Thanks to everyone who made this adventure possible. Towards many more extraordinary years!"
