Mr. Mai Thanh Nhan, technical manager of Phuong Minh Farm, a farm located in Hang Hot village, Me Linh commune, Lam Ha district, said that Phuong Minh Farm Company Limited invested in and built in Hang Hot village since 2017 with a total area of 25 hectares. Of which, the company has 3 hectares of greenhouses specializing in cultivating high-quality vegetable and root varieties such as bell peppers, tomatoes, pumpkins, and lettuce.
"Right from the beginning, Phuong Minh Farm has aimed to be a responsible farm. Our greenhouse system is built to standards, high, and airy, ensuring the best farming process. Since planting the first seeds, Phuong Minh Farm has applied the VietGAP farming process. And, at the end of 2024, Phuong Minh Farm has achieved GlobalGAP farming standards for the 3-hectare greenhouse area and the farm's specialty avocado area," Mr. Mai Thanh Nhan said.
To ensure GlobalGAP standards for the cultivated area, Phuong Minh Farm has fully implemented the prescribed criteria. GlobalGAP certification requires high levels of internal management, product risk management, environmental risks, and risks for workers in great detail, helping to ensure a systematic production process and valuable agricultural products. Phuong Minh Farm has upgraded its warehouses, invested in a traceability management system, ensured hygiene and safety for workers, and strictly isolated pesticides according to the standards of the global certification organization.
