Canada: OGVG announces new research, innovation and plant protection lead

Ontario Greenhouse Vegetable Growers announced the appointment of Daniel Terlizzese as the new research, innovation, and plant protection lead.

Terlizzese holds a master's degree in environmental science from the University of Guelph, where he conducted significant research on the light environment within greenhouse vegetable crops and the effects of supplemental light photoperiod on greenhouse eggplant. His academic background is complemented by a bachelor's degree in biological science from the same institution.

Richard Lee, executive director at OGVG said: "We are thrilled to welcome Daniel to our team. We are confident that Daniel's leadership will drive significant advancements in our research and plant protection initiatives."

Terlizzese will be responsible for leading research projects, developing innovative solutions for greenhouse vegetable production, and ensuring the implementation of effective plant protection strategies.
