At the end of May, Van Adrichem Kwekerijen and Van Marrewijk Tomaten already announced their merger as one joint company. This created a new company with an area of about 62 hectares.
The past period has been busy positioning the newly merged company. The transition from a family company to a company of families has resulted in a new name: Alvonto.
Brand positioning
The merged company has been supported in its brand positioning by Lyfter and deSIGN Branding. The name Alvonto reflects the core values and ambitions jointly formulated by the shareholders.
'Al' is inspired by the word 'Alma', meaning soul, or soul of the family business. 'Von' subtly refers to the surnames of the founders, while 'To' stands for 'Together'. The slogan "Together We Grow" means growing together: both literally, by growing vegetables, and figuratively, through personal and business development.Changes
For the time being, all existing contact details remain unchanged and the company can be reached in the manner already known. Once the changes have been fully implemented, all stakeholders will be automatically informed of this by the company.
