ToBRFV discovered in Croatia for the first time

The Plant Health Organization of Croatia has reported the finding of Tomato brown rugose fruit virus (ToBRFV) in the country. It is the first official finding in Croatia. The find was made this month in a small 300-square-meter production greenhouse in the municipality of Martijanec. The find was made during an official inspection. Phytosanitary measures have been imposed.

Croatia was still one of the last EU countries without an official virus finding. The virus has already been found in neighboring countries Slovenia and Hungary. Neighbouring Serbia has not yet reported ToBRFV.
