Following the first finding in 2019, New Delhi virus (ToLCNDV) has again been found in Turkey. In both greenhouse and open cultivation, the virus was detected in samples from cucumber cultivation, melon cultivation and Cucurbita pepo, ornamental squash. The official virus status is that the virus is not widespread but is present.

The report from researchers also notes that during the study, the most common virus species found was the cucurbit yellow stunting disorder virus (Crinivirus cucurbitae, CYSDV).
