"Having our own greenhouse Innovation Centre is central to helping growers across the CEA space and allows us to work with growers and innovation partners directly to co-develop products, recipes and strategies to boost yields across a wide range of crops," says Charlie Guy, CEO of LettUs Grow.

The company officially unveiled its latest Aeroponic Rolling Benchâ„¢ (ARB) product during an invite-only technology showcase at its Heath Farm: Aeroponic Innovation Centre in Bristol, UK. "We're in constant contact with growers worldwide through trials, pilots, and commercial projects, allowing us to continuously learn from these collaborations. This event has sparked discussions with several new growers about exciting projects, and I can confidently say that 2025 is shaping up to be quite busy," Charlie remarks.
"This capability is complemented by our experience and expertise in a fully controlled environment growing at our indoor farming-focused Avon Valley Research Centre," Charlie adds. Working with growers across these two sites allows LettUs Grow to support growers in innovation and getting the most out of their systems.
A collaborative effort
Charlie prides industry partners who have been vital in feeding into the design process. "Working with growers and industry partners has been our main priority from day one. It's 'easy' to develop a solution that works at a small scale, but it's impractical when faced with the realities of growing fresh produce at a commercial scale. By collaborating with top experts in horticulture, we ensure that everything we develop is commercially viable. This collaborative approach allows us to leverage the unique insights of our diverse partners."
Two of the key things LettUs Grow partners have reinforced are flexibility and reliability. The ARB system is flexible for different growing environments, dimensions, and growing operations. Reliability is critical for growers, and the team ensures to think about this at every step of the design process.
"This is our first visit to Heath Farm, and it's inspiring to see our collaboration come to life and connect with others involved in this journey. We've been working with LettUs Grow to develop custom aeroponic plug trays tailored to their system, and we're excited to see the impact our efforts will have on the cultivation process and for growers using the technology," says Bas Dirven, R&D Manager at Meteor Systems.
Future aspirations
"We have many plans to continue to invest in and upgrade the site. All of our innovations are centered on continuously improving yield performance and the efficiency of aeroponics for growers and expanding the range of markets that aeroponics can positively impact," Charlie comments.
LettUs Grow, as a peat-free growing system, is dedicated to continuously exploring sustainable growing media solutions. The team actively welcomes collaborations in this area, as well as in optimizing variety selection for greenhouse and vertical farming systems.
