Kelpinor announces the successful closure of its Pre-Seed Investment round, securing 2.7 million NOK (€ 228,000) to fuel its soil improvement products' development and global marketing.
This investment round brings together a new group of investors, including Carl Fredrik Tjeransen (Tokai AS), Espen Lynne, Emil Theodor Bjørdal, Tord Søfteland (Agilvo AS), Baard Hall (Tenari AS), and Asbjørn Lilletun (Norinnova AS). Their commitment to Kelpinor reflects a shared vision for enhancing soil quality and promoting regenerative agriculture practices.
"In a challenging economic climate where many startups struggle to secure risk capital, we are incredibly grateful for the confidence these investors have placed in us. Their support not only empowers our mission but also positions Kelpinor to make a significant impact in the global market for sustainable agriculture solutions," the Kelpinor team shared.
The Kelpinor team
The startup's next steps involve collaborating with Håkon Haugli's team at Innovation Norway, Eksfin - Export Finance Norway, and its banking partners to match this investment with relevant soft funding for export initiatives.
Kelpinor also invites potential investors who may have been unable to participate in this round to reach out and join our investor newsletter. "Stay informed about future opportunities, as we plan to open another investment round around summer 2025."
