Jasa Packaging expands with Dubai office

JASA Packaging is taking a step in its international expansion by opening a new office in Dubai. Peyman Waziri, who will lead this expansion, shares his insights on why Dubai is the location for JASA's next move and how it aligns with the growing demand for packaging solutions in the Middle East.

"Dubai wasn't chosen by accident," Peyman Waziri explains. "Over the past 20 years, Dubai has evolved into a global trade and logistics hub. It offers a strategic gateway to promising markets in the Middle East, such as Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Kuwait, all of which are working to strengthen their food supply. These countries are increasingly investing in the import of fruits, vegetables, and other food products, and this presents huge opportunities for JASA. Our expertise in efficient and sustainable packaging solutions perfectly meets their needs."

With a rapidly growing focus on food safety and sustainability, Peyman sees enormous potential in the region. "Dubai serves as a model for the rest of the area, making it a logical choice for JASA to open an office here. We want to be close to our customers to support them as effectively as possible."

Sustainability and innovation: The keys to success
Peyman continues: "There's a clear shift happening in the Middle East toward more environmentally friendly packaging solutions. Governments, such as those in the UAE and Saudi Arabia, are encouraging businesses to adopt more sustainable practices. Take, for example, initiatives like the 'UAE Green Agenda' and 'Saudi Vision 2030.' Companies in sectors such as food processing and agriculture are increasingly seeking sustainable solutions, and JASA is here to provide exactly that."

Local presence makes the difference
According to Peyman, establishing a local office in Dubai is crucial to success in the region. "Having a physical presence here allows us to respond more quickly to the specific demands and needs of the local market. We can work directly with our customers, guiding them step-by-step through the process, which builds trust. In the Middle East, personal contact and the development of long-term relationships are essential for business success."

"We also collaborate with local partners in the GCC region and Egypt for after-sales service and the installation of our packaging lines. This ensures that we don't just sell products; we provide full support before, during, and after implementation. In this way, we fully take the burden off our customers: from advice and installation to maintenance and training. Our customers can rely on JASA for more than just a product—they get a complete solution. We take care of everything so they can focus on their core business while we ensure their packaging processes run smoothly."

The future of JASA in the Middle East
Peyman is excited about JASA's future in the Middle East. "We've already built a strong foundation by attending key exhibitions like Gulfood Manufacturing and Saudi Agriculture. The growing demand for weighing and packaging automation, as well as sustainable solutions in the region, presents enormous opportunities. We already have clients here, and we're seeing increasing interest in what JASA has to offer."

"I truly appreciate that the relationships we build here go far beyond simple business transactions. Over time, our clients start to see us as a trusted partner, almost like family. This trust is the key to long-term, successful partnerships."

Conclusion: JASA's contribution to a sustainable future in the Middle East
"I'm confident that JASA will play a significant role in the future of packaging solutions in the Middle East," Peyman concludes. "Our focus on innovation, sustainability, and customer service aligns perfectly with the current market trends in Dubai and the surrounding regions. We're not just here to grow—we're here to make a real difference in the local food supply chain, with a strong emphasis on sustainability and efficiency."
