Havatec, active in automation and sorting technology for the flower industry, announces the appointment of Ronald Begelinger as the new CEO effective as of October 9, 2024. With his years of experience and proven leadership in horticultural engineering, Begelinger will take the helm at Havatec .
Begelinger is no stranger to the industry. Since 2007, he has led his own companies in horticultural technical installations—Enthoven Techniek and Patron Agri Systems International, which he successfully sold to Van der Hoeven Kassenbouw in 2018. Through these companies, he gained extensive experience with large-scale horticultural projects both domestically and internationally. He then applied his expertise in various interim management roles, including at Alumat Zeeman, where he significantly improved the company's structure and results in a short time. His broad experience and deep knowledge of both national and international horticultural markets make him a perfect addition to the Havatec team.
"I am really looking forward to taking on this new challenge," said Ronald. "Havatec has positioned itself as an innovator in the flower industry over the past few years, and I see plenty of opportunities to further strengthen that position and realize new growth possibilities. It is an honor to lead this passionate team and contribute to the ongoing technological developments that are so crucial for our sector."
In addition to his new role as CEO, Begelinger is also a shareholder in Havatec, highlighting his commitment and dedication to the company's success. Under his leadership, Havatec aims not only to strengthen its position in the Netherlands but also to expand internationally.
The international IFTF fair will take place in Vijfhuizen from November 5-7, 2024. Havatec will have a booth there annually, showcasing products such as the SleevR, PrepR, and Twister. Begelinger will also be present at the fair.
