Biota Nutri has announced the results of its recent trials in Kenya with Biota Calcium and Biota Iron, carried out by its partner Koppert Kenya.
Charles Macharia from Koppert Kenya: "Biota Calcium was tested on tomatoes and the results were very positive: the Calcium content of the tomato plants went up significantly, and the yield increased up to 15% compared to standard production practice! The recommended application rate for optimal results was 3ml/L.
Biota Iron was tested on roses and again the results were very positive: the foliar application of Biota Iron resulted in a reduction of plants with iron deficiency and at the same time resulted in a significant increase of marketable yield. The recommended application rate for optimal results was 5g/1000L."
