New partnership brings seven lettuce varieties for indoor farmers

Lettuces are now joining the Vertical Farming range at VOLTZ alongside herbs, greens, microgreens, and cosmetic flowers. In partnership with Gautier Semences, VOLTZ Vertical Farming has selected 7 lettuce varieties that are particularly well adapted to indoor production due to their resistances, rapid growth cycles, and high harvesting capacity.

JAVELO
This variety is a light green lollo-type lettuce, with a good volume and an open head. This well-balanced blond curly leaf is also strong against tipburn and has a good performance in various cultivation systems.

BELANICE
Belanice is a well-structured plant with filled heart. This blond oakleaf lettuce has a compact head with good resistance to tipburn and a very attractive presentation.

FLORIGO
A Multileaves batavia green type with incised and curly leaves. This compact and solid plant is strong against tipburn. It also has a homogeneous number of leaves and leaf sizes, suitable for high-density planting.

VERIGO
Multileaves crunchy green type with whole leaves, solid and crunchy with curled edges. Known for being strong against bolting and tipburn, having a good yield, and a good post-harvest shelf-life, this variety is also ideal for sandwiches.ANSELO

This triple red lollo type with intense coloring to the heart and a medium-sized head has good resistance to bolting.

REDIGO 2
This multi leaves batavia of the range. This red type with incised leaves has deep, penetrating red coloring over the entire leaf and is particularly suitable for food processing.

RUBYGO 2
Another Multileaves batavia type has whole two-tone red and green colored leaves with curled edge. Making it very suitable for attractive presentation, and is especially ideal for sandwiches. With a good post-harvest storage capacity, Rubigo 2 makes a good pairing with Verigo.
