Cucumbers in greenhouses of Ukraine to be harvested year-round

In 2024, the company LLC "SP PAEK" launched its first greenhouse vegetable production at its facility, cultivating approximately 4 million seedlings for a variety of vegetable and melon crops. The first crop grown in the greenhouses was radishes, followed by tomatoes and cucumbers. Currently, all greenhouses are filled with a new cucumber harvest.

According to the company's founder, Yuri Kormyshkin, the demand for greenhouse vegetables under the brand name "SMAKOTA" is very high. The products are of high quality, transport well, and have a longer shelf life compared to field-grown vegetables.

"Currently, we are constructing additional greenhouses. In addition to seedlings for the main field crops, we plan to provide consumers with fresh greenhouse vegetables, mainly cucumbers, year-round. We will introduce radishes in late autumn," says Yuri Kormyshkin.

It's worth noting that at the beginning of 2024, the company put into operation a greenhouse complex consisting of 10 greenhouses for growing closed-ground vegetable products. In August 2024, the area was further expanded with an additional 7 greenhouses.
