On the 24th, Kang Dae-hyun, CEO of Palm Aite, said, "We are mass-growing fresh leafy vegetables such as lettuce at a plant factory, and we can grow them steadily regardless of the external climate. General greenhouse vegetables are affected by sunlight, but plant factories are less affected by external climate because they use LEDs to grow them in buildings."
Lettuce, which had skyrocketed in price to the point where it was called "golden lettuce" this summer due to the abnormal climate, was produced stably here. Although there is still not production enough to affect prices, it is considered one of the alternatives to prevent vegetable prices from soaring due to abnormal climate.
