Join the Department of Pesticide Regulation for a workshop to learn more about its planned approach for evaluating modified insects for pesticide registration.

The workshop, which will be held in Sacramento and is open to the public, will detail the department's scientific approach to evaluating safety and efficacy, using mosquitos as a case study.

The workshop will include a presentation and provide an opportunity for attendees to ask questions during the event and provide written input following the workshop.

It will take place on Wednesday, October 30 from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM PST at California Environmental Protection Agency, 1001 I Street, Sacramento, California. The event will also be available via Zoom.

More details will be announced soon.
