"Using something as small as a nanobubble to solve big problems"

"Nothing was allowed to go wrong anymore." And: "Fewer waterings with better results." These are just two statements from growers who invested in a Nanobubble installation from Agrona. With summer temperatures in the past sunny August month, good-quality water is important for growers. In the Netherlands, Horticoop Technical Services regularly installs Nanobubble installations at growers' premises for this purpose. The company specializes in installing complete water technical installations in greenhouse horticulture.

Agrona's Nanobubble system is able to solve major problems with something as small as a nanobubble. The system ensures the supersaturation of oxygen in irrigation water with maximum efficiency. High oxygen content improves water quality, root growth, and nutrient uptake and suppresses pathogenic fungi, installation of the system with growers worldwide has shown.

High oxygen input
The Nanobubble system provides oxygen levels from a minimum of 150% to a maximum of 300%, allowing roots to grow faster and more vital. The plug-and-play system can be simply connected on-site and works with a gas injection technology. The gas in this case is oxygen.

To ensure optimum oxygen supply to the crop, Horticoop Technical Services recommend installing the Nanobubble system in the daily supply, clean water silo or water basin.

Clean drip lines
The bubbles generated by Agrona's system are so small that they remain suspended in the water, even during transport to the crop through the pipes. Because only clean water passes through the pipes, there is no more contamination. The aeration system prevents blockages and ensures a clean supply.

Algae develop quickly in water storage and take oxygen and nutrition away from the crop. By breaking down the algae early and thus preventing it, the root environment improves. With cleaner water, growers avoid problems and need to use less crop protection products.

Growers working with Agrona's Nanobubble system also recognize this. "The oxygen content in our pouring water is spectacularly high now, any time year of the year. This is where the nanobubbles make a big difference," said a satisfied tomato grower last autumn.

The yellow line is the oxygen content in standard horticultural recirculation water. The green line is standard horticulture water after treatment with the machine. The percentages say something about the percentage of oxygen measured in the water.

Horticoop Technical Services has a wide range of water technologies available. The Oxybull, an aeration system from Agrona, is also part of the range.
