Niu Chuanqin, a melon farmer, is busy picking sweet melons for customers, while his wife is picking Sichuan peppercorns by the roadside and selling them in boxes.
The Agricultural Industry Demonstration Park for Rural Revitalization in Niulou Village, Gaomatou Town covers an area of 600 acres, with 33 fruit and vegetable greenhouses, 50 edible mushroom greenhouses, 1,000 square meters of refrigeration and drying workshops, and more than 10 characteristic fruit and vegetable products such as watermelon, loofah, cucumber, cantaloupe, shiitake mushroom, and chili peppers. This is a modern agricultural industry demonstration park that integrates large-scale operation, industrial development, and order-based sales. Its annual output value reaches more than 7 million yuan, providing jobs to more than 300 locals in the surrounding area.
In the early stages of the construction of the vegetable and fruit greenhouses, State Grid Puyang Power Supply Company actively connected and understood the electricity needs of vegetable farmers. They utilized the "three zeros" and "three provinces" electricity business reporting "shortcut keys, opened a "green channel "for business processing, and completed the construction of the vegetable greenhouse supporting power grid on time.
