Greenhouse systems supplier Dutch Agro Systems has inaugurated a new production hall. This move was necessary due to the continued rush and increasing demand for their systems, and sets the company up for further growth, shares Shaniel Raghoenath.
"Over the past year, we have invested significantly in research and development, which has resulted in several new systems." Shaniel continues that such innovations are hugely important for the company. "Our new products focus on improving greenhouse efficiency and sustainability. The improved profiles provide more light penetration and higher load-bearing capacity, and enable easier installation."
The innovations attracted the interest of both existing and new customers, which in turn led to more production orders. "So actually we did have to expand."
The new hall, now operational, provides additional space for both production and storage of aluminium profiles. This allows the company to work more efficiently and respond faster to customer needs, and to prepare for the future. "With the new facilities, we are better equipped to implement further innovations and enter new markets. Moreover, this expansion strengthens our position in the greenhouse industry, and prepares us for further growth."
