As we bid adieu to the first half of the year, our colleagues Eelkje, Priscilla, and Annet have already signed off, and our editorial team is about to follow suit. Andrea is doing his best to withstand the heat of Rome and assign his brainpower to playing chess, while Rebekka hopes to overcome the IT outage and still make her flight to Japan. Eugenia is set to embrace the tranquility of Normandy, Elita will cherish precious moments with her new baby and lovely daughter, and Elvira plans to explore the Spanish wilderness. (We're purposefully leaving out Arlette's summer plans since she has no clue yet—but what we do know is that her break will involve minimal to no e-mails, greenhouses, or newsletters.)
