Cherries, peaches, nectarines, grapes, and cantaloupes received the most advertisements

Among fruit products, cherries, peaches, nectarines, grapes, and cantaloupes received the most advertisements. These juicy options are perfect for beating the heat. On the vegetable front, tomatoes lead the way. Their versatility allows for simple enjoyment - just slice and season with salt, pepper, and vinegar. Despite fewer ads this week, there are still great deals on fresh produce. So, stock up and savour the nutritious goodness.

Total ad numbers this week were 277,021, a 9% decrease from last week's total of 304,346. The total for the same week last year was 2% lower at 272,354. The total number of ads broken out by commodity groups: fruit 175,291 (63% of all ads), onions and potatoes 15,197 (5%), vegetables 82,320 (30%), herbs 934. The number of ads for organic produce was 32,773, 12% of total ads.

This week, there were no notable price fluctuations for fruits or vegetables. Neither onions, potatoes, ornamentals, nor hemp products had over 3000 ads, resulting in insufficient data for reporting any shifts.
