Reintjes Systems recently completed a Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) with their customer from New Zealand. The Reintjes team has developed and built various modules for supplying the washing line for this customer, the company reports.
New High-Speed Expander
Central to this project was the new high-speed unfolder from Reintjes. "With this unfolder, the customer can process mixed crates at an impressive speed of up to 1,500 crates per hour", says Joost Reintjes.
This expander provides users with higher processing capacity, he assures. "Thanks to the high speed, the customer can process more crates in less time, leading to an increase in production capacity and a more efficient production process. In addition, the built-in control systems make it possible to process folding crates of various sizes and types, giving the customer flexibility offers to handle different types of crates without having to adjust the unfolder. Finally, the unfolder is designed for long-term and reliable use, which contributes to a stable production process and lower maintenance costs in the long term."
Supply solutions
To supply these unfolders, Reintjes uses a universal depalletizer that is suitable for all pallet sizes. "In combination with our shuttle systems, two unfolders can be supplied simultaneously by one depalletizer, which further increases the efficiency of the supply process."
