Raid and arrests at drug lab in Dutch greenhouse complex

A large drug lab was found in Bergen op Zoom, on Heerlesebaan, on Wednesday 26 June. Police raided a barn and a neighbouring greenhouse complex. Five people were arrested, four arraigned and detained for longer. Regional media such as Omroep Brabant and BN DeStem reported extensively on the matter.

The suspects are four men aged 25, 58, 23 and 37 and are from Alphen aan den Rijn, De Lier and Rotterdam.

To combat this kind of drug crime in the agricultural outskirts, the police have been campaigning for some time.
