About 90 minutes from the Indoor Ag Tech location in Chicago, a tour was held in the 300,000 sq. ft. Innovative Growers Equipment facility (IGE) in Sycamore, Illinois last Wednesday. 40+ US- and overseas-based based joined the group of companies to see the latest innovations at IGE's warehouse.

Speaking at the event were (co)founders of IGE, Hydrofarm, Growtainers, LettUs Grow, Staal & Plast, and the Director of the job training program of the local High School students where the company teaches welding, electrical, plumbing, hydroponics and other basic STEM courses. On top of the production facility, the visitors were showcased the recently completed four Growtainer Tissue Culture complex built for a major global strawberry producer.

The organizers said that the crowd was extremely engaged, taking pictures, asking questions and enjoying the presentations.
