Breeding and producing hybrid vegetable seeds in Azerbaijan

Bringing an innovative breath to Azerbaijan's agricultural sector, Azərbaijan Toxumçuluq Təsərrüfatı-Gözel Seeds has been taking a main role in the breeding of tomato, cucumber, pepper, watermelon and other vegetable seeds since 2019. Operating with the aim of increasing the agricultural potential of the country, and enriching the local product diversity, the company continues its work to increase the productivity, durability and taste of vegetables.

"Azerbaijan is a country with a significant presence of global companies in the agricultural sector, leading to intense competition among these enterprises", says Mr. Emrah Böler, Business Development Manager of the company. "As a result, companies strive to develop new, high-quality, tasty, and healthy varieties that meet both international and domestic market standards. The development of new varieties provides these companies with a competitive edge."
