The list of reviews on the website shows that they are convincing people, despite the disbelief Robert and his team sometimes encounter. Wijnen Square Crops is now one of the happy users. For these growers, the technology was new and its operation unknown. The growers were therefore somewhat hesitant. However, based on good experiences from other growers, they decided to start in the largest basin.
We quote Koen Saris from Wijnen Square Crops' review: "We continued to treat the other basin as we always had, which involves labor and resources. The difference between the basins became increasingly significant. In the basin with transmitters, algae quickly disappeared, and the biofilm was greatly reduced."
Like other growers, he indicates that after installing the transmitters, 'they no longer have to worry about it'. Pepper grower Joost van Luijk from Hot Pepper King: "I'm very happy with the operation of these transmitters, which achieves very good results without any effort."
Record scores of Pythium and Fusarium eradicated
Robert notes that bell pepper growers have problems with, among others, Fusarium. For a Canadian bell pepper grower, the installation of the Usaf transmitters in water silos produced remarkable results. Record scores of Pythium and Fusarium were rapidly eradicated by the transmitters.
In the beginning, the grower's irrigation water contained Fusarium with >80 colony-forming units (cfu) and Pythium even more than >200. "This result is the maximum that this laboratory could indicate," Robert emphasized earlier. "We were able to reduce the Pythium to a 'Not Detected' ratio and the Fusarium to a level of 1 cfu/ml. These results are simply unreal and fantastic for this grower."
Robert finds it 'very special to see how different organisms respond to the torment of cavitation.' "The surface changes immediately. Resulting in immediately clean water through the filters."

Growth
Ultramins is now also active in other sectors. For example, chicory growers use the transmitters, and there is also interest in the shrimp farming sector, which also requires large volumes of water to be kept clean. "Our new Business Development and Marketing Manager Eric van Velzen is involved in this."
The number of countries to which Ultramins provides its services is growing. Recent additions include Australia (initially with a customer query focused on the cucumber mosaic virus), and France (where a tomato grower wants to use the transmitters against ToBRFV). Moreover, the team is growing too. Anyone who walks past the stand at GreenTech in Amsterdam (stand number 05.0329), will come across Robert and Eric as well as many other colleagues, including Glenn Grootenboer, and Denny Leidsman. Denny is an advisor who is mainly focused on the Dutch and German markets.
What Robert likes the most about the past three years of innovating? "Innovative growers who immediately understand that our transmitters will elevate their entire water management, and therefore decide to solely use our transmitters. It results in less loss, thus more product. What's more, less work and stress about water quality."
