HotiNigeria, a Dutch-funded horticultural program which had implemented in Kano, Kaduna, Oyo and Ogun states, Wednesday conducted a comprehensive training for agro-dealers from the various local government areas in Kano state.
The training comprised a diverse group of agro-dealers, including retailers of seeds, fertilizers, and other agricultural inputs. Participant will engage in a curriculum designed to cover business management theme, including sales, marketing and business skills.
The Agribusiness coordinator at HortiNigeria, Danjuma Makama, stated that: "Our goal with this training is to empower agro-dealers and create a ripple effect that will benefit the entire agribusiness clusters being established in collaboration with actors across the various nodes of value chain in Kano state.
"By providing these key players with the tools and knowledge they need, we are laying the foundation for a more productive, sustainable, and inclusive horticulture subsector."
