Last year, Aart Jan Bos departed from Beekenkamp Packaging. He is succeeded by Bob Persoon who has been appointed as the new sales manager. He is familiar with the Beekenkamp Group because he has served as a market manager at Deliflor, which stems from the Beekenkamp family. "In that respect, Beekenkamp Packaging is somewhat of an odd one out. At Beekenkamp, the focus is always on plants (vegetables and flowers), however, Beekenkamp Packaging is an exception." This doesn't bother him, on the contrary, he has been feeling very at home the past few months. The puzzle pieces are still being gathered. From this puzzle, a vision and strategy will be formulated.

Bob has already noticed that a compact team can achieve a lot. Bob sees even more possibilities, which he compares to a pie: "The market is like a pie. Everyone has a slice. Now, I am looking for new pies, and there are plenty of them. These new markets are my concern in the field of business development. He finds these new 'pies,' for example, in sales in new countries, products for emerging crops, collaboration with machinery manufacturers, but also with growers. Bob: "Recently, I was at Genson. I was impressed by their passion for growing the best young strawberry plants. We want to contribute to this goal. It's inspiring to sit with this type of entrepreneur at the table."
At the same time, he praises the team: "We have it all: creators, developers, advisors, and coordinators. Beekenkamp Packaging is very well put together. We will take many more steps ahead."
