Ukraine: The largest mushroom farm in the Ternopil region won the "Course for Independence" project

Fungi Farm, one of the largest mushroom farms in Ternopil in Ukraine, clinched victory in the "Course for Independence" project.

This initiative was supported by Astarta-Kyiv and the German Government, including the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), the German development bank DEG, and the Charitable Foundation "Believe in Yourself". The competition aims to aid Ukrainian business owners seeking equipment funding for expansion.

The top 100 winners will each receive up to 20,000 euros for necessary equipment, coupled with training programs at the Kyiv School of Economics and the MIM Business School, empowering them to penetrate stable markets.

Eugene Salovsky, Fungi Farm's financial director, expressed gratitude for the grant, enabling the implementation of ambitious plans, including environmentally friendly product processing. Despite wartime challenges, Salovsky emphasized their commitment to sustaining economic activity and supporting the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The Salovsky family's journey in the mushroom industry is marked by hard work, unity, and strategic vision.

Fungi Farm is located in Ternopil's outskirts, specifically Khatky and Pronyatin villages, their team comprises seasoned technologists trained at Poland's leading mushroom farms.
