At Fruit Logistica in the Messe Berlin, Hortilux has introduced a brand new LED product line: the Hortilux NXTLED. According to them, this fixture has an efficacy of up to 4.1 μmol/J and a power of up to 1400W.
The name is also new: Hortilux fixtures were previously called HORTILED, but a completely new name has now been chosen: NXTLED. "A reference to the quality of their NXT2 HPS fixtures from the successful past and at the same time a fresh look at the future," the Hortilux team explains.
"The new NXTLED series has an internal driver with four different powers, providing a perfect solution for every situation: 600W, 750W, 1050W and, as indicated, 1400W. This makes Hortilux the first to introduce an LED fixture with such a high power, resulting in the highest light output per fixture. This means that fewer light points per m2 are required and maximum energy savings are achieved."
The fixture is (digitally) dimmable as standard via the built-in dongle and can be connected to the climate computer.
