Ukraine: The expanding vegetable cultivation by nearly 7 times and venturing into greenhouse construction

In 2024, Mykolaiv grain company "PAEK" is set to expand its vegetable cultivation areas nearly sevenfold and construct a minimum of 10 greenhouses for seedlings and vegetable production.

Having already increased the total vegetable cultivation area to 300 hectares this year, yielding two successful harvests, the company is optimistic about future developments.

Owner of LLC "SP PAEK," Yuriy Kormyshkin, shared insights into their ambitious plans, stating, "For 2024, we aim to expand vegetable cultivation areas to 2000 hectares. Significant investments are earmarked for greenhouse complexes for seedling cultivation and irrigation systems. The minimum plan includes the establishment of 10 modern greenhouses."

Kormyshkin further reported the successful germination of radishes in the already constructed greenhouses, marking a promising start to the company's venture into expanded vegetable production.
