Today, the 22nd edition of the Growtech exhibition kicked off in Antalya, Turkey. The fully booked event hosts over 600 exhibitors, presenting their agricultural, and horticultural solutions.
The show is not just focusing on the Turkish market but also is a meeting point for international visitors. One of the markets in focus is the Azerbaijan market which is showing significant growth. Of course, exhibitors are also looking for new export markets.
"We are really content with the international participants", said show organizer Engin Er earlier. "Every year the number of our national and international participants increases. Last year we hosted participants from 27 different countries. Apart from this, Germany, the Netherlands, Spain, France, Africa, China, and South Korea came together with the international agriculture sector professionals at Growtech. Particularly China took a quantum leap once again to grow, in the aftermath of the pandemic."

"Already getting a lot of interest at Growtech in Antalya Turkey with regional growers wanting to solve problems due to excessive summer heat and challenges with too much rain on their field and orchard crops. Auto-dry motorized rain shelters and retractable flat-roof cooling houses are the perfect low-cost solution for protecting hectares of crops in minutes while increasing revenues by optimizing the growing environment. Best of all, the cooling roofs will reduce irrigation requirements in excess of 50% and the roofs use only 2-5 kW hours of electricity per hectare per day", shares Richard Vollebregt with Cravo.
