Ukraine: Grants of 503.3 thousand euros distributed to develop orchards and greenhouses

Within the government's grant support program for small and medium-sized businesses, 7 additional agricultural enterprises have received EUR 503.3 thousand for the development of horticulture, berry farming, viticulture, and greenhouse farming. In total, 126 farms received state assistance amounting to EUR 13.19 million this year.

Specifically, EUR 10.3 million has been allocated to orchards for 104 farms, while another 22 enterprises received EUR 2.9 million for greenhouses.

The government grant program, in effect since July 1, 2022, supports small and medium-sized businesses. Since the program's inception, EUR 14.4 million has been disbursed to 134 business entities.

Grants cover up to 70% of the project's cost, capped at EUR 252 thousand. Applicants must finance at least 30% of the project's cost with their own or credit funds. A mandatory condition is the employment of the required number of workers.
