Recently, Lino Bassanese from Ambralight paid a visit to the aquaponic company Solos, where one of the founders, Matheus, guided him through the different growth phases of lettuce, where they use the Ambralight artificial LED growlights.
First up is the growth chamber, where no sunlight enters, and they rely entirely on the Ambralight AE100 LED growlights. In this controlled environment, the plants grow until they become tall and strong enough to be transferred outside. In the greenhouse, the LED growlights turn on automatically when light sensors measure a low amount of light provided to the plants. This way, production is guaranteed even on cloudy or winter days.
"With over 10 years of experience in this field, we are definitely no longer wet behind the ears. Starting from the growers' requirements and plant needs, we offer custom spectra, custom LED lamps, and lighting solutions for professional operators in agriculture and floriculture. With our ongoing cooperation with the University of Padova and the completion of over 350 projects in the last 3 years alone, we've had a lot of opportunities to fine-tune our LED lights and make them as tailored for plants as possible," says Lino.
