The latest LED lighting from Current, including the new Arize Element® L2000, is among the many items for growers that Hort Americas will display at Cultivate'23 on July 15-18.
Assembled in Hendersonville, North Carolina, the L2000 is among the most efficient grow lights in its class. It offers up to 3600 µmol/s and can reduce fixture count by up to 20% when installed as an HPS replacement.
The company's booth (#2421) will also feature a full range of Current's Arize line of lighting.
At the Hort Americas booth, visitors can also see a piece of agtech that reduces plastic waste and labor costs. Hort Americas recently became the exclusive distributor of Agrifast's Tomsystem in the United States and Canada.
This clipping system, which uses galvanized steel clips, replaces traditional crop-supporting methods. Besides the sustainability benefits, its clipping process lowers labor cost per hectare.
With the Tomsystem, clipping speed can reach 2,000 plants per hour. The clipping tool also closes in five adjustable positions, allowing for customization based on a crop's thickness and weight.
