UK: Cheshire greenhouse renewed by magical Wand

The Women’s Action for New Direction NPO (WAND) recently aided the Fatima Mayet Cheshire Village in Croftdene after they pledged their commitment to Project Greenhouse.

Chairperson and founder of WAND, Trey Catrina Naidoo, said that the women of WAND together with volunteers from the community, gathered to restructure and cultivate the land to provide vegetation for the residential disabled patients.

This initiative will allow the institution to grow their own vegetables, which they will then sell to raise money for their organization. We believe that having a sense of purpose and achievement is important for all people, but especially those who have been marginalized by society. We are thrilled to be partnering with the Cheshire Home because they can provide these patients with support and encouragement while also opening doors for sponsors so that their mission is successful in life,” explained Naidoo.
