Yesterday was the second and last day of CPMA’s Toronto trade show. In general, exhibitors were very positive about the event, and many said they saw everyone they needed and hoped to see. “The event was well attended with a good number of quality retailers and foodservice operators,” said Ernst van Eeghen with Church Brothers Farms. “It was a very family-like atmosphere.”
Most exhibitors shared that there was less foot traffic compared to the first day. “However, today resulted in more interesting leads for us,” said the team of Agrolux. “Ultimately, that’s what it is about.”
A suggestion that was often heard was to extend the hours of the first show day from four to five and make the second day the shorter day.
On Monday, we will publish a photo report from the show.
